I am very sad to see the proposal to move much of Wimbledon (Abbey and Trinity wards) into the parliamentary constituency of Mitcham. Though Wimbledon will still notionally have an MP, in fact all of South Wimbledon and the town centre as far as the railway station will be in Mitcham, including the Police Station, the Fire Station, Theatre and Centre Court shopping centre.
This proposal does not reflect the reality of our famous town and community and treats us like an indistinct piece of a sub-urban sprawl.
