On 3rd December the poppy wreaths laid at the Village War Memorial were seen dumped on the pavement in Parkside. They had been gathered up into plastic bags and left by a bin. Merton Council have undertaken an investigation but have been unable to identify who was responsible. The incident has been recorded as fly-tipping. The 3rd December was the day of the Village Christmas Fayre, perhaps someone witness something? |
